Anchor Deputy Manager

Purpose of Role

To enable people to become the best version of themselves through developing the training programme for the trainees, and supporting the teams development and progress.

Main Activities/Tasks

  • To support the Manager in the smooth running of the department
  • To support the team in their delivery of training
  • To troubleshoot with the team
  • To attend professionals meetings and liaise with external organisations
  • To train the trainees
  • To induct new trainees into the Training Programme
  • To help manage organising the weekly/monthly rotas
  • To induct new staff into working for The Anchor
  • Any other duties as required

Training and experience

Full training will be given during induction and on an ongoing basis.

Preferred (but not essential) experience in training and motivating others, complex mental health issues and leadership.


35 hours per week


The Anchor deputy can expect to receive the following support:

  • Use of a HR and H&S Platform.
  • Line Management support
  • 24/7 access to a BUPA call line run by Qualified Counsellors
