Job Summary

To give people an opportunity to build social skills and inclusion, and to assist the cavern in providing activities for people to get involved in.

Purpose of Role

To continue the smooth running of yugioh events and to run other card gaming tournaments.

Main Activities/Tasks

  • To continue the smooth running of YUGIOH events
  • To ensure we have plenty of stock for YUGIOH
  • To launch Magic the Gathering, Dungeons and Dragons, or Pokemon events
  • To monitor sales to ensure the events are breaking even
  • To market all events
  • To build a volunteer team to build capacity
  • To work alongside The Cavern manager and work within the vision and values of The Cavern
  • To stay up to date with all relevant information regarding the games
  • Any other duties as reasonably required


  • Expectation that the potential candidate has full understanding of Yugioh
  • An understanding of tournaments and facilitating them
  • Organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to lead and work as part of a team
  • The ability to work within the policies and procedures of Kingfisher Treasure Seekers
  • Appreciation of the ethos of Kingfisher Treasure Seekers
  • A willingness to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the business


Full training will be given during induction and on an ongoing basis

The candidate can expect to receive the following support:

  • 24/7 access to a BUPA call line run by Qualified Counsellors


This role will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and references


The Cavern, 56 Westgate Street, Gloucester, GL1 2NF, and various others depending on co-produced plans


Part time- 10 hours a week to include a couple of admin hours.

Overtime is usually available across the organisation.


Ranging from £5-£9.10 depending on age and experience
