The next Know Your Patch meeting will take place, via Zoom, on Monday 29th March from 1.30pm-3pm. More details to follow in the coming weeks. You do not need to book to attend this meeting, just join us on Zoom - login details will be sent out in the middle of March.

Rotary Children's Competition

This month, Elmrep are the proud sponsors of the Rotary Children's Competition. There are three sections to the competition - Young Artist, Young Writer and Young Photographer; each section has three age categories 7 – 10 years, 11 – 13 years and 14 – 17. Entries opened on the 1st of February and will close the 28th of February.  If you have a child at home who is creative and bored due to the lockdown this might just be of interest. If you don't have a child at home please forward it using this link, to anyone you know in the Gloucester area who's child might be interested in taking part.

Rotary Young Artist Competition

The theme is Wild Nature. To produce a photo of one finished 2-dimensional, up to a maximum size of A2, unframed, piece of artwork. We welcome artwork in the following mediums: pen & ink, paint, collage or printmaking. To accompany the submission, each entrant must provide a brief sentence describing the relationship of the artwork to the theme.

Rotary Young Photographer Competition

The theme is Wild Nature. To produce a photograph upon the theme in colour or black and white. The photo should be no larger than A4 size. Each entrant must provide a brief sentence describing the relationship of the photograph to them.

Rotary Young Writer Competition

The theme is My Happiest Day. The written entry could be fiction or non-fiction, prose, or a poem, as long as the piece relates to the theme. Up to a maximum of 550 words for prose entries. Up to a maximum of 40 lines for poetry entries.

The competition is free to enter and there are gift vouchers to be won. It is open to young people aged 7 to 17 who live or go to school in Gloucester. 


NHS CCG - Fit for the Future consultation update

Thank you for your interest in the Fit for the Future: Developing specialist hospital services in Gloucestershire consultation.

Since the consultation closed on 17 December 2020 there has been a lot of activity; for instance we have been reading and collating all feedback received into an Interim Output of Consultation Report and participating in an independently facilitated ‘virtual’ Citizens’ Jury.

We are contacting you to draw your attention to additional information relating to Fit for the Future, which may be of interest to you and which you may wish to comment on.

All additional information, and any further comments we receive will be used to inform the Decision Making Business Case (DMBC). The DMBC draws together all the information about Fit for the Future that will be considered by decision-makers when they meet to reach their final decisions about the proposals for change on 11 March 2021.
