Cavern update - July 2021

Restrictions are lifting!

Following the most recent announcement from Boris we are easing our in-house Covid restriction from this week. Wearing masks will be optional but we do ask that you respect other peoples choice should they wish to continue wearing one. There will be more seating available within The Cavern too.

With this in mind, we will be providing our “Safe Side Service” to all who would prefer more personal space - extra precautions for those who may be feeling anxious about the ease in restrictions. There will be two tables in the back room of The Cavern available for use as part of the Safe Side Service. We’ll provide tableside ordering to restrict your time spent at the bar area. Our team will wear a mask while serving you and ensure that you have a quiet space that’s well socially distanced.

Our music events are slowly coming back!!

Thank you to those who have joined us these past few weeks. In July we have one particularly big event planned... a special night of Police Vs Cavern Karaoke! Sing your heart out against the police’s karaoke team and the winning team lifts the Karaoke Trophy! The Cavern will also be serving our full food menu in the evening so pop in for a pizza and enjoy the entertainment.

Our games area is reopening on 1st August!

Our games area will be open again soon and we will use a booking system to enable everyone to get a fair amount of time on the games. Please ask a member of staff how you can book your two hour slot on the sofas!

Exciting changes to The Cavern staff team!

Our part time supervisor Maciej is joining the team full time and will be taking on the role of Deputy Manager and Meely is the new Cavern Manager.

Volunteering space available

There are still some spaces available at The Cavern for volunteering. If you would like to apply please come in and see Jonny, alternatively you can message our Facebook page or call up on 01452 307201 and chat to one of the team.
