Our youth mental health drop in continues to grow and develop. Many of our referrals come from GP surgeries and the hospital which is really encouraging. We generally have around five to ten visits an evening, and the themes tend to be around gender, sexuality, and complex mental health issues such as PD. 

We continue to ground these young people and distract them, as well as referring them to other agencies such as Young Gloucestershire and Nightstop. We are meeting young people who are generally engaged with other services and want low level intervention, a safe place to relax and people they can talk to. 

As we continue to build relationships, we are getting a better idea of the direction we want Youth Support to move in  and we are looking forward to moving into our new space soon (where the Cavern used to be) now that we have a full compliment of staff. We have also started making plans for Christmas as we're providing this service every evening throughout the Christmas period!
