The Knife Angel comes to Gloucester

The Cavern has been used as a safe space for the volunteers working at The Knife Angel to come for a break and a drink. One of our deputy managers, Esme, was on BBC News talking about The Knife Angel and the amazing work that The Cavern does to engage young and vulnerable people in the community. Click here to see the BBC clip.

The Cavern recently extended it's hand to Pride in Gloucestershire. The local vigil for Brianna Ghey, a victim of violent crime who tragically lost her life recently, was held at the Knife Angel monument on the evening of Wednesday 15th February. We let Pride in Gloucestershire know that The Cavern was available as a safe space for all those who needed it after the vigil.

The Cavern celebrates a birthday!

On Monday 23rd January, The Cavern turned eight years old! We had a great evening celebrating our birthday with a Mario Kart competition, a colouring competition and birthday Karaoke themed #bekind. There was also lots of good food, soft drinks and cake!

Come and get creative with Threads

Threads continues to be a beautiful group for people to get together and be creative. The group takes place every Monday from 10am until 12noon. It's free to attend and we can supply wool and needles.

Come and play at Cavern Tots!

Cavern Tots is a free toddler group for young parents and their families. The group takes place every Thursday from 11am until 12noon.

The Cavern changes lives!

Recently we've been asking customers, staff and volunteers at The Cavern, what this space means to them and how it's help them develop as people. It's been lovely and inspiring to hear their stories!
