What Is The Cavern?

The Cavern is our community coffee shop, which is open to all throughout the week as a safe place to meet friends, play board games and see a friendly face.

The Cavern opened in 2015 with funding from the Police and Crime Commissioner originally as a youth venue offering Friday night youth nights. The Cavern hosts event each week, including: Yugioh, DnD, Magic the Gathering, Pokemon, board games, Warhammer and karaoke nights on Sunday.

In July 2016, Support at The Cavern, our out of hours mental health drop in, saw The Cavern open 7 nights a week as well as 6 days a week!

As well as being a coffee shop open to all, The Cavern gives work experience opportunities to: colleges, schools, as well as vulnerable and disadvantaged people.

We are open: Mon-Sat 10am until 11pm and Sunday 12 midday until 11pm.
